City of Birmingham Gymnastics Club & GB gymnast Kallum Mulhall takes the bronze medal in the 2014 World Age Group Tumbling Championships in the 13-14 years category in Daytona, Florida (13-16th Nov), closely followed on his heels by club team mate Jaydon Paddock who after qualifying in third place managed to step up his performance in the finals finding those extra tenths to climb into a creditable final fourth place.

This is both Kallum and Jaydon’s second experience of world championship eventing and both have proved that they are truly world class performers. A difficult year of growth and injuries have ended well for Jaydon and made his efforts and perseverance worth while. Equally, whilst training injuries have hindered Kallum’s development they didn’t manage to stop his spirit and tenacity shining through enabling him to hold onto the bronze medal position that he also managed to achieve last year; a great job from both City of Birmingham gymnasts.

Congratulations to the GB Trampoline & Tumbling squad who have asserted their authority at the event and attained a host of championships titles in both the Age Group and Senior World event.
